Google and Meta and all the funded companies also are not even close to GPT 4, so I doubt cost is the biggest factor. Claude is the only model that is decent other than OpenAI's.
- adastra22 3y agoMy understanding is that the models are pretty comparable, but nobody's reinforcement training set is not nearly as good as OpenAI's, so they're able to fine-tune their model to give more accurate results.
