Having been to Douala myselft, I could'nt agree more. There is so much money going around but the city (which happens to be one of the most expensive in the world) is in ruins. This is because of the centralized governments that France instituted in its African colonies. Before a road is contructed/repaired, you must first get authorization from central command (Yaounde)
