So many people are effectively cargo-culting software around at scale by just following along walkthroughs, examples, and tutorials. I’ve seen people who are moderately good developers panic when they have to troubleshoot while following a “golden path” playbook because they’ve seemingly lost the ability to troubleshoot. No one RTFM’s before doing stuff anymore. I have learned over the past many years that this has been key to my own journey and something others are willing to pay for.
