How does NextCloud compare to Sandstorm? It is the same kind of thing? What are the best alternatives to Sandstorm?
- ocdtrekkie 3y agoSandstorm is an app platform that lets you install various apps within it, but doesn't have a lot of built-in functionality. Nextcloud is more of an all-in-one-kit solution, though it does also have an app store. It would not really make sense to put Nextcloud inside a Sandstorm app because it is too bulky, but you would need a suite of other Sandstorm apps to do what Nextcloud does. Very different approaches to a similar thing. Upsides and downsides to each approach.
