Ok so we're going with the interpretation, "showing dead bodies on TV is 'about empathy'"? I was charitably trying not to interpret the comment this way, because the rest of the comment rants about how there is too much division. It seems absurd to me to suggest that showing dead bodies will unite people. In practice it seems to do exactly the opposite.
