Maybe the Diaspora project qualifies as a failure or, at least, as a disappointment.
- muyuu 15y agoI'm not following it, but doesn't it work as advertised? what's the disappointment then?
- Joeboy 15y agoI guess the disappointment is that people don't use it much.
- goatforce5 15y agoFrom Kickstarter's point of view, they enabled Diaspora to raise a big pile of money so that they could _attempt_ something. So it was a great success.
- tdfx 15y agoI never held out much hope for Diaspora. For the most part I only use Facebook to connect with people that are helplessly or willfully ignorant of the issues that led to Diaspora in the first place.
