Job losses likely at Volkswagen as the people's car brand becomes uncompetitive
- hunglee2 3y ago40% of the VW revenue is from one market - China - and it's clear that Chinese consumers are abandoning the brand in favour of locally produces marques. VW might still crack the transition to EV but high input costs from energy crisis means they have to eat huge losses in order to do so. JV with China companies and try and stay in that market, then expand again from there.
