I hear mara-ju-ana is also a gateway to illegal content.
What a nothingburger of an article. Most people consume pornography (notice the article is also targeted towards men) without issues.
> Many feminists, including myself
Oh. She just hates men.

- abathur 3y agoI generally agree with your skepticism of the viewpoint presented in the article, but I feel like your conclusion is a little too broad. Some things to weigh, here: - Wikipedia identifies Julie Bindel (author of this piece) as a radical feminist. AFAIK, this branch of feminist thought's opinions on pornography are quite consistent with what's expressed in this article. Radical feminism isn't ~representative of broader feminist perspectives on porn. - While feminism tends to be associated/correlated with the political left, UnHerd is (again, AFAIK) generally recognized to have a mild rightwards lean. I hesitate to characterize the slices of feminist thought that appear in UnHerd, but I don't find them representative of any conversation I've ever had with the feminists in my life.
- nullindividual 3y agoI recognized radical and should have added that in brackets to the quote. Not all feminists are bad/hate men/etc. And honestly, I'm likely much farther left than this lady (check comments -- no sympathy for the wealthy taking the shit).
