- acdha 3y agoWhich corporation: most of the things people worry about with AI are indistinguishable from a group of humans who’ve been told that they’ll be rewarded for making a number go up each quarter. I’ve had some impressively fluent-but-nonsensical conversations with people who were under strict orders not to say they couldn’t do the obvious right thing.
- rob74 3y agoIf you compare artificial intelligence with natural stupidity (or rather natural I-don't-give-a-shit), this is bound to happen. Both give wrong answers, but the answers made up by LLMs at least sound more convincing...
- prmoustache 3y agoBiggest issue is an LLM will often lead you to a dead end or unsatisfying answer and will quit the call abruptly while sometimes with humans you can escalate to a manager.
- shiroiuma 3y agoThe LLMs are also much more polite and well-spoken.
- starcraft2wol 3y agoYou can talk to a person and try to develop an understanding. You can’t fix a broken computer you don’t own.
- Balgair 3y agoWhat's the old saying? You don't have to run faster than a bear, just faster than the person next to you.
