I've been using heisenbridge[0] to do my Matrix to IRC bridging and I like it. Not a broader solution to the problem since most people don't want to run their own services, but it works well for me and is no different to a bouncer for IRC servers, noone knows it's actually Matrix on the other side.

- kinduff 3y agoSame here, I really like it. Really easy to configure and setup.
- alwayslikethis 3y agoI just configured one today. Took me no more than 15min. Highly recommend. If you are starting fresh, I recommend using the Ansible playbook: https://github.com/spantaleev/matrix-docker-ansible-deploy https://github.com/spantaleev/matrix-docker-ansible-deploy
- kinduff 3y agoYes! And don't forget MASH [0], its a collection of Ansible roles that is compatible with the Matrix Docker Ansible Deploy playbook. In case you want to add more services to your Matrix server. [0]: https://github.com/mother-of-all-self-hosting/mash-playbook https://github.com/mother-of-all-self-hosting/mash-playbook
