Sharing knowledge and helping other people grow (through code review as well) IS “more important, and creative work”. So no, I’d like to keep it as human as possible and wouldn’t want to touch AI with a ten-foot pole for this purpose.
- evanwolf 3y agoYes. The act of parsing code for yourself, for gisting it, and thinking about it - that's what makes you think better and build skill. Discussing why and different ways of doing it with others - that builds team wisdom. AI might help with organizing a review and timeboxing, clerical support, but the actual work of the review should be left to people.
