While I think the 'AI' trends are waaaaaaaay overinflated right now and somewhat grifty, even if it completely collapsed Nvidia would be fine. They provide lots and lots of compute power to those who need it, and in the commercial and public sectors that's always needed - far more as technology advances. Someone somewhere will always need to run a bigger, better simulation and Nvidia is more than ready to provide the hardware for that.
