If you think the value of HN stems from it not being popular with the masses, you're fully capable of making HN 1 unit better by leaving. Oh, wait, this doesn't apply to you, does it?
- joering2 15y agoRegEx, you are perfectly correct. One thing I quickly learned here is to shut up and listen, limit my comments. But I hope you understand; its soo darn hard sometimes to keep your mouth shut :|
- leot 15y agoBy that reasoning, HN was best when it was just pg.
- tptacek 15y agoWhat a weirdly hostile comment.
- RegEx 15y agoIt's just extremely silly how people don't want other people on HN, as if they are any different.
- tptacek 15y agoI wonder why you didn't just say that, then. But again note that the comment you're responding to is parroting something 'pg himself has said.
- RegEx 15y agoI was upset, I find the elitist attitude to be extremely irritating. Should've waited a few minutes to cool off before responding. The fact that it's pg's opinion doesn't mean anything to me, though.
