How do the pellet projection payloads slow down once they get close to their target ?
- acegopher 3y agoThey don't. They fly by. Like New Horizons did with Pluto.
- Syzygies 3y ago"Interstellar plasma braking", as mentioned in another comment? The ship can slow down, but the passengers will all have died from the plasma radiation.
- gumby 3y agoThe passengers will do fine as they presumably will have been designed to withstand the radiation. The will also presumably be powered down until arrival, as they will be robots.
