I received the same email. And I honestly, cannot tell 100% whether it is real or spam. i) I could not find any information on their website. ii) The email did not come from a springernature mail server (but rather some sparkpost mail server which seem to be origin of some spam) But then i) It might just take them time to compile an official statement. ii) I checked some of their newsletter emails and they also come from various sources such as AWS. Any more insight?
