The browser is highly security critical, because of its exposure to the internet, as well as, because of the high-value assets it stores, security tokens, session keys, passwords, browser history, etc. Therefore, I prefer tools that don't extend that attack surface and that I don't have to trust that they observe every move I make on the web.
- PlasticSoul 3y agoThanks for sharing your perspective. We've heard from a couple of friends working in larger teams that their companies ban extensions for security reasons as well, so we'll definitely take that into account.
