The best possible outcome here is SF blowing this deadline and a bunch of new housing developments getting approved a day later.
- dehrmann 3y agoMaybe, but SFMTA will just drag its feet on blocking of parking for construction.
- HDThoreaun 3y agoThe state has been quite good at quickly passing laws that nullify whatever loopholes localities come up with. IMO this wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing as it will likely lead to a law that ensures no one else can do it again.
- dehrmann 3y agoYou can't nullify this, though. Without SFMTA enforcing construction parking, people will just park there and slow/stop construction for you.
