I interviewed there a few weeks ago. They mentioned the pending acquisition, and said they had been trying to fill as many positions as possible before that event. They would continue interviewing candidates, but if they wanted to make an offer, that offer would have to wait until after the acquisition completed. I found a job elsewhere in the meantime, so it's not relevant to me anymore.
