Interesting. I noticed this: >"Prior studies have established that attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is associated with risky sexual behavior" Would love to see more about that...because it doesn't make sense to me. That said, this article's title seems to omit a key part - they are studying more females than males. Anecdotally, as I myself have pretty severe ADHD, I question that teens with ADHD are more likely to become sexually active, let alone become parents. I grew up being placed in classes for "special students" (read: people with extreme mental handicaps) and was effectively ostracized from regular social activity, and I was not alone here - lots of ADHD'ers were in the same boat. Most females, even the more sexually active ones with lower standards, shied the hell away from folks like me. Most of us were scared shitless of getting a girl pregnant (and the aftermath of all that), but that might have been more to do with our social class or the area in which I grew up. Dunno. I can see how in females, the ADHD-led necessity for attention and reaction might cause some to be more active and risky when it comes to sex, but I don't think that leads to more childbirth - birth control methods exist.
