Some great suggestions, but even the cheapest alternative is 100% more expensive than a Blue Yeti. The recommended one is 400% more expensive. Meh.

- pynappo 3y agoBy cheapest alternative, do you mean the ATR-2100x recommended as the budget option? I'm in the US and searching Google shows $80+ for the Blue Yeti and $30+ for the ATR-2100x
- rozenmd 3y agoCheck out the Samson Q2U. Ridiculously better sounding than a Yeti, 60 bucks on Amazon US.
- rcurry 3y agoSamson makes great mics. I’ve had a CO1U for years and it sounds terrific.
- Levitating 3y agoAnd I wouldn't say the build quality or stand for the ATR-2100x compares to that of a blue yeti. We only have Yeti's at work, I love them. They look nice, they have an audio out for testing. I personally own a Blue Snowball, I like the aesthetic a lot and it has a built-in noisecap.
