regret to inform you that image preprocessing and IO is done in either openCV or PIL or both for every image processing NN i’ve ever worked with.
- saltwatercowboy 3y agoYes - not sure how this has been overlooked. For Python/torch I tend to use cv2 with an albumentations augmentation pipeline, which is much faster than PIL/torch transforms.
- hprotagonist 3y agosometimes Pillow-simd is nice as well.
