  At least it's a step up from web3 companies in the business of stealing and laundering money by burning coal and scamming senior citizens.

    Agreed - but ai companies are exploiting people’s willingness to see things which are not there. Still bad.

    Honestly it's in large part of the same root cause, isn't it? Venture capital hype pipeline.

      Again, hyping and investing in something that has practical real-world applications is a step up from hyping and investing in something that doesn't.
