Police radio being public hasn’t been a problem for like 100 years and it’s still not a problem today.
Just another way public money is stolen and given to the police industry. Call it civil forfeiture I guess!
- jkestner 3y agoCurrent governor seems to like throwing money at tech just to show how tech-savvy he is (coincidentally, it’s all for the PD). Keeping the libraries open on the weekend would’ve cost a lot less!
- seeknotfind 3y agoIt could be a problem. Though I think attestation more than encryption would be good.
