Too many computer screens, not enough typewriters.
Most of those photos probably date from the late 80s, after IBM made small computers 'normal'.
Up till about 83-85, most offices had lots of typewriters and no screens.
- antod 3y agoYou're right about when things were being adopted, but rather than calling these photos late 80s, it's maybe more to do with the photos being a bit more biased towards the offices of programmers or finance types rather than general business paper pushing offices.
