What about going down steps?
- albert180 3y agoIt's obviously much less demanding and has therefore less health benefits. If you can't climb 50 Stairs you should start exercising ASAP
- kiba 3y agoIt has less benefit, sure, but probably different benefits. Running downhill is a great way to get DOMS because of the increased eccentric contraction.
- FartyMcFarter 3y agoApparently the body can adapt to eccentric exercise quite quickly, to the point that DOMS and other effects like muscle damage are reduced: https://youtu.be/q9onRcxcN_0 https://youtu.be/q9onRcxcN_0
- ez667 3y agoDon't do that. It will cancel out the benefit of going up.
- aio2 3y agoCan tell from experience.

- alliao 3y agomake sure your knee are straight up and down, don't twist your knee going down stairs incorrectly.. it'd wear your knee out fast and unnecessarily
