Github claims to have a vulnerability prevention system that blocks Copilot from generating insecure code (https://github.blog/2023-02-14-github-copilot-now-has-a-better-ai-model-and-new-capabilities/ https://github.blog/2023-02-14-github-copilot-now-has-a-bett...), but it clearly doesn't work.
- jimmaswell 3y agoIf a tool could stop all insecure code it would be an AGI. It's still on the programmer to review code they copy from the internet or generate from copilot.
