All of these numbers are actually updated only once every 10 seconds, but the animation makes all the digits scramble for 8 out of those 10 seconds for no reason other than to look busy. Don't do that. Don't distort the information. Don't make it harder to read the information. Don't waste the user's visual attention on things that don't matter. Spend it on things that are meaningful.
