- ReleaseCandidat 3y agoYes, but many of them have - like Blender or Linux (the kernel) - a team of professional "core" developers.
- dagw 3y agoThey also both have a single person that has been leading the project from day 0 up until today.
- MattRix 3y agothat is a vastly different thing from “made by a single person”
- forgetfulness 3y agoYeah but the context of the discussion is this caustic essay against what the author claims is the product of design-by-committee, having a single or small core leadership isn't a recipe for success, but Darktable doesn't seem to be doing too well in its absence.
- MattRix 3y agoNot sure how that’s relevant? It’s still not a single person.
