hello, i'm a big fan of so called "near-field monitors", which have a decent sound if you tend to sit in front of them. most of them are active and there are a broad spectrum of options available ... idk. from cheap(er) behringer, alesis, mackie to name a few or the decade-old intermediately priced "standards" from yamaha (which i'm using) to other more pricier options ... if you want to spend some money / invest in quality combine them with a decent USB-audio solution + symmetric cables ... :)) just my 0.02€
