Drunk drivers don't really cost vehicle manufacturers any money right now. But with technology like this, now the manufacturers are open to lawsuits from false negatives and false positives. So thinking in terms of lives saved, a correct (albeit cold) computation, isn't really where this ends. Nothing beats the almighty buck!
