- albert_e 3y agoDoes the latest biography of Musk by Walter Issacson acknowledge this very visible feature of his public persona?
- floydnoel 3y agoOf course it does. Almost every article about Musk since the biography released is just reprinting something straight from the book. That's the primary cause of all these articles, as the media need something to print and cause high engagement, so just grab another tidbit from the biography!

A place where "free speech" is maximized --- but only if Musk agrees with it. Only one small problem for Musk's vision --- the people with large advertising budgets are seeking first and foremost to maximize profits --- not propaganda. Political propaganda can actually be counter productive to their objectives. In other words, Musk's vision in unrealistic and speaks to a mentality that is somewhat out of touch with the basic nature of advertising.
