I ride... agree with you regarding the standing position and elbow ups position. KTM 300 XCW enduro bike and a BMW R1200GS Rallye. On both bikes I have slightly lowered pegs, and on the KTM I have a slightly taller handlebar. Not risers, as they normally place the handlebars closer to you rather than further away. I am pretty tall at over 6'5" (198 cm to be exact) so ergonomics to me is a bit trickier than for most.
