True but SOMA itself contradicts your statement since there is a point where you continue playing as a "backup" and it even takes a moment for the character to realize what happened. The copy doesn't feel like he's a copy.
- LoganDark 3y agoIt does not. I do not care how the copy feels as I will still be dead. Even if the copy gets to live out life exactly how I would have, as if I really had just moved, I still died. I left a comment elsewhere in the thread about the teleporter that deconstructs you and then reconstructs you somewhere else. That's what this would be like.
