Show HN: I made a nextjs boilerplate to automate boring stuff
Every time I had a idea to build a side project, I used to always go through pain of authentication, databases, payments, emails which are the basic things you need in a app. Once you are over that, there was no motivation left to work on actual idea.
So, I built this boilerplate - https://www.shipappsfast.com https://www.shipappsfast.com which is opinionated, powerful and simple to work with.
I am looking to improve and add more features. It helped me learn a lot.
- msoad 3y agoGreat project! I admire the effort. However I am not sure if there is a huge market for this. There are many free open source options for this. Why would anyone wants to pay?
- 0_mbj36 3y agoThey lack support, sometimes documentation. Here you get everything out of the box. You get landing page, Auth components, emails, billing etc OSS options are scattered, there is still work to do when you go with free options
