I switched away from FF recently. On ubuntu 22.04, was irritated by the fortnightly snap update messages. Decided to switch to the ppa version instead. The ppa version had a "gmpopenh264" plugin has crashed problem on many sites. Switched back to Chrome. I don't have time for those hassles and the gmpopenh264 crash didn't have a googleable solution. Due to the snap being the default installation on ubuntu, not enough users were on the ppa version to get even serious crashing problems fixed.
