  They’re called political donations. Do companies donate to PACs just for of charity? No. They do it to influence policy for greater profits.

    The donations go to ads. I’m confused what you’re objecting to.

      I’m objecting to people buying ads. Ads = influence. Because “hey if you don’t want to play ball, we’ll happily fund ads for your opponent” (see, for example, AIPAC)
