Starlink is an actual order of magnitude faster than the next best option (centurylink dsl) in my town of 2k people. Considering that we never even got broadband out here its been great. Starlink has applications beyond an off-grid cabin in the backwoods, if only because ISPs have utterly failed the rural broadband mandate. And as an elon anti-fan it pains me to pay him monthly.
