Hey author here. Yes I agree about the 'vagueness' of a walkout. For any given walkout, it could be for any reason. But when you put the numbers together, you can see clear patterns. One person walking out means nothing. But ten walkouts at the same time tells you something. It feels like analytics. And those people wouldn't feel as free to do this if there wasn't an element of vagueness.
