Ask HN: LiveScribe pen?

Has anyone here tried or owned one of the Livescribe smartpens? The specs make it sound pretty impressive, but I find it hard to judge just from them whether it would be pleasant to use. Anyone here have any experience with them? (http://www.livescribe.com/)
