This is why I ended up switching to Kagi. I had been using DDG with !g when necessary, but with the state of the web these days the results have (at least for me) really sucked in the last few years. I think it is worth paying for products that help me in my professional productivity, for a few reasons. Firstly, I don’t want to be the product. I don’t want to be "sold to" while I'm trying to accomplish work. I might forget what I was doing! I want to support the development of high quality products. I don’t want to be spied on. The list goes on. Kagi is worth paying for, which is what many other HN users have mentioned. There is a free trial so just give it a try. Please let me know what you think!
