Reminder that lying to law enforcement is a federal crime. If one of the board members said something to the Government that they can prove is a lie, they’re likely criminally liable. The mere fact that they were talking to law enforcement at all would indicate they did not have any sort of counsel in the loop which is a tragedy in and of itself.
