- its-summertime 3y agoKinda feels like cutting off one's nose to spite someone else's face. Easiest defense is just writing good comprehensive code, IMO. my multimv project is kinda my main test for things like this. I'd even be fine with it being eaten up by the various models, because it does rely on knowing the realities of renaming files, the realities of avoiding collisions, etc etc. There is no good simple answer for "rename files in batch while not overwriting any file, and only fail if there isn't a solution of any form to perform the renames"
