Show HN: my first app - Is there a Giants game today?
- dailycavalier 14y agoToday's the first home game of the season for the Giants, so we created this simple page. What do you think? - rollypolly 14y agoCan you make one for the As? :)
- dailycavalier 14y agoYes, this would be pretty easy to do. Stay tuned!
- lforrest 14y agoThis is awesome.
- GoofyGewber 14y agoSimple, but still pretty cool.
- dailycavalier 14y agoThanks!
- benblodgett 14y agoSimple and fun, but why would someone use something like this vs visiting mlb.com?
- killion 14y agoAs a non-sports person just being able to know if SOMA will be a mess or not is perfect.
- dailycavalier 14y agoExactly. I'd say this site is even more useful avoiding traffic and transit delays during home games.
- mast 14y agoI actually wonder if MLB would have issues (Giants trademark, etc) with a site like this and try to shut it down.
- rograndom 14y agoI can say without a doubt that they would. I've had run ins with MLB for using commercially using my own photos from games that had team logos visible in them.
- lforrest 14y agoIt's a much easier way to get a answer, quickly since the mlb sites are fairly busy and not great on mobile.
- jackrabb1t 14y agoWhy did this get voted up on HN?
- thealoof 14y agoBecause it's a simple, fun idea.
