Not just the public, but also the employees. I doubt there are more than a handful of employees who care about AI Safety.

- justrealist 3y agothe team is mostly e/acc so you could say they intentionally don't see safety as the end in itself, although I wouldn't quite say they don't care.

- concordDance 3y agoNah, a number do, including Sam himself and the entire leadership. They just have different ideas about one or more of: how likely another team is to successfully charge ahead while ignoring safety, how close we are to AGI, how hard alignment is.
