Is this the closest Raycast/Alfred equivalent for windows?
- adaboese 3y agoWindows does not have Raycast? I don't know what I would do without it! That must be a pretty huge opportunity. I don't use Windows, so not for me, but why no one has built something like it?
- theolivenbaum 3y agoWe're working on something similar at https://curiosity.ai https://curiosity.ai - no plugins yet but something we have in our roadmap for next year.
- TriNetra 3y agoI appreciate you recognizing the PPP to determine pricing. Definitely something that can convert me to buy a subscription. Here hoping the app is also accessible (for screen readers).
- xnyan 3y agoThe official Microsoft version is Run, and it's not bad. One of it's biggest limitations is it's not customizable, so no plugins or community like Alfred. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/run https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/run.
- janandonly 3y ago> PowerToys Run is a quick launcher for power users that contains additional features without sacrificing performance. It is open source and modular for additional plugins. So this is false: it does support plugins, I just never heard of any.
- jsmith99 3y agoRun has plugins. I use https://github.com/lin-ycv/EverythingPowerToys https://github.com/lin-ycv/EverythingPowerToys to add Everything.
