Why not just use the article title?

- dragonwriter 3y ago“Left in the dark” is a common idiom for having information withheld. This particular use also uses a construction I think of as “implicit pass voice” where the “to be” part (is/has been/etc) of a passive voice construct is elided, it's more fully “OpenAI CEO Shear ![has been] left in the dark [about the reasons and supporting evidence for Altman’s firing], ... ”
