Another twist - ChatGPT goes offline
- PDSCodes 3y agoLots of posts showing ChatGPT going offline. Some showing errors, others failing to log in after the session expires.
- kefabean 3y agoIt has had an incredible amount of mainstream media attention around the world in the last couple of days so it’s hardly surprising. That said, it did cross my mind that dark forces or a disgruntled employee might be at work.
- PDSCodes 3y agoYes. Usually the service grinds and slows. This was a sudden auth failure - quite strange! You can’t help but think it is more than capacity - or maybe I am getting carried away with the soap opera.
- Art9681 3y agoThis is a hard down. Even the API calls wont go through. I am not getting alerts for their service status either. I've never seen it this bad. I guess this is what happens when your SRE team is in limbo due to company politics. EDIT: Disregard the comment about status. I did receive those.
- baobaba 3y agoThey just rolled out ChatGPT Voice, likely overloaded due to this.
- PDSCodes 3y agoYes, but why roll out a capacity bursting feature in the midst of a crisis. Surely the priority is stability. The incompetence is unrelenting.
