- nojvek 3y agoX seems to have had the worst execution from all of Elon’s companies. I believe he could have done much better if he started from scratch and formed a lean team to execute on a vision. Now he has to spend a lot of energy from having Twitter not be a dumpster fire. X is a worse brand than Twitter. They haven’t done much to the recommendation algorithm - except add a special case for Elon. My feed is a mess. Even if I pay, I get a shit ton of ads. Many scammy accounts have a blue checkmark now. It’s hard to trust. Elon himself violates their own policies by tweeting lies and hate. All in all X probably deterred a bunch of people from buying Teslas as well. But Elon wanted “Free speech for myself, not for thee” and that’s what he made.
