  No, it can't, as it primarily supports only domain blocking.

  It's DNS level adblocking, so no. E.g. If sites used a hardcoded IP address, pihole will be useless. Same applies if devices such as TVs use their own DNS/DNS over TLS. Sort of see IP + DNS blocking catching on next once pihole becomes ineffective.

    that's what I thought but I don't use pihole so thought it might be effective somehow.
