I often wondered why the main part of batteries for e-trucks dont just go into the trailer instead of the cab, since thats what you change a lot and what stands around somewhere more often then the truck itself. Glad to see someone is actually working on this!
- bramblerose 3y agoI suspect this may have to do with who owns what: the trailer is not always owned by the same entity as the truck which means that some sort of agreement needs to be made. This could be part of the transport fee, but would need to solve questions like what happens if the trailer battery is empty.
